I participated in an Influencer Activation on behalf of Influence Central for Kmart & March of Dimes. I received a promotional item to thank me for my participation.
On Friday I was in New York City for the Moms + Social Good event to kick off the Global Moms Relay. It was a fantastic day for social good with famous moms like Connie Britton, Jennifer Garner and Jessica Seinfeld talking about helping other moms locally, nationally, and around the world. 
The famous photographer, and March of Dimes ambassador Anne Geddes spoke of her work for the charity to promote awareness of premature birth.
Ms. Geddes said 15 million babies are born prematurely each year, and more than a million babies die each year as a result of being born too soon.
The March of Dimes is the leading nonprofit organization for pregnancy and baby health. For more than 75 years, moms and babies have benefited from March of Dimes research, education, vaccines and breakthroughs.
Kmart has worked with the March of Dimes for more than thirty years and are their top corporate fundraiser.
Now Kmart has teamed with celebrity fitness icon, mom and Kmart ambassador Jillian Michaels to kick-off its 2015 fundraising campaign. The funds raised by Kmart will help support teams of scientists who are working to discover the causes of premature birth and develop innovative treatments at five March of Dimes Prematurity Research Centers.
You may think donating a few dollars can’t go far, but through many such small donations from Kmart’s Shop Your Way® members, customers and associates donated $11 million last year to the March of Dimes annual March for Babies® event to help more moms have full-term pregnancies and healthy babies.

Now through June 20th, join #TeamKmart and the March of Dimes by contributing on-line, or in-store at any Kmart. Learn how you can help here at Kmart.com/MarchofDimes. 100 percent of donations go to the March of Dimes.
Also, you can buy a collectible puppy figurine through Kmart. These are available in-store or online for $5, with $1 from each sale donated to the March of Dimes.
If you are a Shop Your Way member, Kmart is rewarding members who give back something extra when you donate: until June 20, members will receive a coupon for five percent back in points on their next qualifying in-store or online merchandise purchase.
